I think this says it all.
We all laugh at the idea of the Iraqi minister of information convincing his people that American troops weren’t at the airport, weren’t rolling down the streets of Baghdad, and yet we’re fed the same bullshit all the time here, albeit not about such obvious things…. Well, not such concrete things as tanks in our streets, anyway.
