Rollins last night. Never as inspirational as the first time I saw him — I was much more prone to inspiration back then, to be sure — but fantastic nonetheless. Reminded me of Phil. Phil, I miss you, you bastard.

It’s a measly 3 degrees, and as Beth put it, those 3 degrees ain’t nowhere around here.

no idea why the theme from ‘Robotech’ is stuck in my head. it’s beautiful music, but it’s been a long time since I’ve watched the show/played the game.

though i have all the dvd’s of the first chapter at home…. that’s something to do sometime, watch all those again….

That’s 20 hours of downtime to a huge market.

REBOOT THE FUCKING AUTHENTICATION SERVER ALREADY.

Granted, this is the first trouble/downtime I’ve had with Ameritech in a long time, but….

Nice to be able to check from work how my disappointment will continue at home…. Ridiculous!

Last night, around 6, my DSL goes down, making my work at home evening difficult (but still productive)…. But it’s the principle of the whole thing. SBC says they’ve got technicians working on it, be back soon, etc. etc. etc. But I know from previous experience that they don’t have a tech in the office that’s rebooting the authentication server at 8 PM on a Sunday evening….

Still not back up this morning.

But it was like when I forget to wear a watch, how I’ll keep looking at my wrist, forgetting that I’ve forgotten…. I keep thinking, oh I’ll just look that up on the internet…. Blah.

So, no XBL for me last night. Every game I played seemed so….disconnected.

Digging using the “current music” deal on LJ not for telling you all what the current song I’m listening to (which might inform the post) but to find songs in my collection relevant to the post. Leads me to listen to songs I may not have heard in ages. Good stuff.
