I’ve been spending some time lately, dealing with Kinko’s. Making menus, mostly. I imagine my familiarity with the store and the people will only increase over the next couple months. I’m very excited about this.

Very.

just hold the shutter open and twirl about and everyone can get in on the fun.

This parking lot used to be….well….a parking lot. No big deal. Now it’s just covered with a huge condo building.

Was a hard night at Morseland — a party of 8 and a party of 20 that turned into 30. But all was handled well, and I’m constantly learning that nothing is ever as big a deal as I think it is…. Ever. And the after work made it so much worth it — Phil came in around 8PM and I didn’t have a second to talk to him at all, but he stuck it out, and other folks came in that he was talking to and by the time I was cut at 11, a bunch of my friends were around…. Good stuff.

Today’s photo: Phil.

Torby racks ’em up at Morseland.

it hasn’t stopped snowing…. well, okay, so it has, a little bit. but there’s a lot of snow around. it’s totally different snow than snow in jersey, somehow. the feel is different. the effects are different. the timing is different. jersey became a winter wonderland. chicago becomes a slushy pit.

and yet, i prefer the latter….

It’s time for the first real snowfall in the city and boy is it a good one. Making me thankful for the indoor garage we have. Here’s a picture of the car just after parking at Morseland and then after the 3 hour meeting I attended….

I have just discovered that software that I helped develop is mentioned in a Microsoft knowledge base article. How cool is that? Amazing!

Went to have lunch at Einstein Brothers bagels on Southport. That is so terribly bland and unexciting that I will forever regret writing that down.

In an effort to keep every picture from being of either Morseland or the apartment, I’ve decided to take pictures elsewhere, too! Here’s one I took while I was in the car. Does it get more exciting than this?

Dear God, let us hope so.

This is Broadway and Ardmore.
